The JEI Library has been moved to the Slavic, East European and Asian Reading Room at The George Washington University's Melvin Gelman Library at 2130 H Street N.W., Washington, D.C. 20052. The holdings include all of JEI's publications. The reading room is open to the public. The Asian Studies Newsletter Archives has taken charge of many of the library's newsletters. The archive is a privately maintained, archival collection of Western-language (and, to a limited extent, Asian-language) newsletters and bulletins dealing in whole or in part with the countries and the civilizations of East, Southeast and South Asia. ASNA is open by appointment. Requests for a limited number of photocopies of individual issues are filled whenever possible at cost.
